Recall of Graco Tot Wheels®
Entertainer® Infant Walkers
On June 14, 2000 the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Graco voluntarily recalled about thirty one thousand Tot Wheels® Entertainer® Activity Center Infant Walkers for repairs. This is because Graco received reports that the stroller may collapse without warning and cause injury to a child. Twenty-seven reports of injured infants have been reported to Graco. The reported injuries to the babies have included a lacerated toe, bumps to the head and a sprained foot. Other babies have also received bruises and scrapes to their legs and feet.
The Tot Wheels® Entertainer® Activity Center Infant Walkers that are being recalled have "bouncing action" and have a removable, green play tray with twelve activities. The tray also includes a steering wheel, flashing lights and ball spinner and has a blue base with red and yellow supports. This walker can be adjusted to five different height positions. The seat is covered with fabric that depicts animals.
Graco Tot Wheels® Entertainer® Infant Walkers were sold nationally between September 1999 through February 2000 for approximately fifty dollars. In order to determine whether you have the recalled walkers you should look underneath the walker's tray. There you will find the model numbers 4032LN or 4032BLA. Only Graco Tot Wheels® Entertainer® Infant Walkers with these model numbers are being recalled. If you believe that you have one of these walkers you should discontinue its use immediately and contact Graco at 1-800- 345-4109. Graco will send you a free repair kit that is easy to use as well as a new replacement tray.
